Common questions about our custom milling services
We mill hardwood flooring, crown molding, tongue and groove, shiplap, baseboards, door casing, window trim, chair rail, wainscoting, and custom profiles. If it's made from wood and needs a profile, we can probably make it.
We can mill boards up to 11.5 inches wide with profiles on all four sides. For two-sided work, we can go a bit wider. Most flooring and trim falls well within these limits.
Most orders are ready within 1-2 weeks depending on complexity and our current workload. Rush orders may be available - just ask. We'll give you a realistic timeline when you request a quote.
Often, yes! We have a wide selection of standard knives for common profiles. Bring us a sample or send photos - if it matches something we have, we can run it. For truly custom or unusual profiles, we can order special knives, but that adds cost and lead time to your project.
We work with red oak, white oak, walnut, hickory, cherry, maple, poplar, ash, and more. Different species work better for different applications - we're happy to recommend the best choice for your project.
Yes, we deliver throughout Southeast Missouri including the Perryville, Cape Girardeau, and surrounding areas. You can also pick up at our shop on Hwy B in Perryville.
No job is too small. We're happy to mill one board or a whole house worth. You get the same quality and attention to detail regardless of order size.
Yes! If you have your own lumber, we can mill it to your specifications. Just make sure it's dry and free of metal (nails, staples, etc.) that could damage our equipment.
